Ralph is the tarzan of the health world.While studying food technology at Wageningen University and beyond, he combed the supermarket jungle all over. As a grocery coach, he even conducts safaris in the supermarket to show people the way to the healthiest products past all the dangers and temptations. In this way, he helps raise awareness about and demand for healthier products. However, this is not enough for Ralph. He also wants to do his bit on the supply side as a food technologist with the Ralph & Jane brand. For Ralph, it certainly doesn't just stop at advising others on health, but he puts his money where his mouth is to be able to be and stay ultra-fit himself. 
Joanna or 'Jane' is the decisive multitasker. She is a busy businesswoman as well as a mother, which is not always easy to combine with a healthy diet and lifestyle. Therefore, she is always looking for good, tasty and 'really' honest products with a high 'convenience factor' to feed her and her family healthily. For many years, she has noticed that there is an awful lot to gain in this area. That is why Janneke wants to help all the other 'Janes' with new solutions and products.

So what exactly is in it?
Teff: Comes from a regular partner in Africa. Farmers specially make this quality (raw) teff for us. It is processed in the Netherlands to Ralph's standards. This gives the farmers security of sales and therefore income.
Teff is a "relief" for nature. Literally, teff brings nitrogen into the soil and the roots stay put. Teff is often used as a rotation crop after the soil is depleted after more intensive crops like potatoes or maize. It is a natural fertiliser. Good for nature (including the farmer) and good for us!
What makes these mixes extra special?
Of course, the Ralph & Jane products meet my strict guidelines, but there is an added benefit for our health with the Power Pancake Mix and the (W)Healthy Wonder Mix. This is because they are very rich in resistant starch. Resistant starch is a 'prebiotic', in other words a nutrient for the good intestinal bacteria. So you can improve your gut flora by eating delicious pancakes, wraps, waffles, muffins and many more goodies.
