By using this site, you agree to our privacy and cookie policy. Your data will never be sold and/or disclosed to third parties. We handle your personal data with the utmost care!

This privacy statement applies to Ralph Moorman, De Hormoonfactor and the Hormoonfactor Institute.

We take the privacy of personal data very seriously.

www.dehormoonfactor.nl will not sell and/or disclose your personal data to third parties.

We process personal data only for the purpose for which it was provided and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG) and the Telecommunications Act.

AIM

The Hormoonfactor Institute processes personal data relating to participants, lecturers, partners and website visitors. We handle personal data with care, confidentiality and professionalism, and comply with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).


WHAT DATA DO WE COLLECT?

When you have subscribed to our newsletter, requested a download, registered for a free online workshop and/or training course, filled in a contact form, made a purchase or made other requests for one of our products and/or services, you will be asked to enter your data. We only process the data you provide to us yourself. This may include the following data:

  • First name and surname
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Website
  • Company name
  • Postal address
  • Billing address
  • Chamber of Commerce number
  • IP address
  • VAT number
  • Date of birth
  • Educational background
  • Tests
  • Evaluations
  • Certification
  • Contracts
  • Cookies

PURPOSES

Data is collected and stored for the following purposes:

  • Sending commercial and informative newsletters + retargeting for Facebook adverts. We only do this using data we have obtained through the downloading of free documents and requests for free workshops/training courses, not using data received via our contact form.
  • Replies to enquiries submitted via the contact form. We do not store this information.
  • Product purchases: this information is used on the invoice and, in the case of a physical product, for dispatch. We store this data in Autorespond and will send you a one-off email to request your consent in order to comply with the GDPR. If consent is not given, this data will be deleted at the end of each month. This is also stated on the relevant forms.

Other:

  • enrolment for study programmes and courses;
  • participant administration;
  • planning and communication;
  • invoicing and payments;
  • certification;
  • quality assurance and evaluations;
  • sending newsletters (subject to consent);
  • statutory administrative obligations.

We do not sell personal data to third parties.


YOUR DETAILS ON DEHORMOONFACTOR.NL

If you have subscribed to our newsletter, requested a download, signed up for a free online workshop and/or training course, and do not wish to receive any further emails from us in future, you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link at the bottom of the email or by contacting us. Your e-mail address is immediately removed from our file and will not be kept. 

Your personal data is stored in our e-mail system and this goes through Mailblue's servers. More information on Mailblue's privacy policy can be found on their website

In addition, we share data obtained from requesting a free documentation/workshop/training session with Facebook to create advertising target groups. 

Payment details are sent to Mollie/Stripe.

Online training courses take place on LearnDash. They have your username and email address.


PRODUCT PURCHASE 

We use the data you provide to make orders as quick and easy as possible. We will not sell and/or provide your details to third parties. Your details will only be made available to third parties if they are involved in processing your order. 

When making a payment via www.dehormoonfactor.nl, you will always be redirected to the website of a so-called payment processor via a secure connection to complete the transaction. Your payment details (credit card number, PayPal login or iDEAL details) are not passed on to our servers and are therefore not stored by dehormoonfactor.nl. The only details we store are:

  • First and last name (possibly company name) 
    To deliver your order to the right person (and company)

  • Address, postcode and city
    We use this address for the correct delivery of your order

  • Phone number
    Should we want to inform you about your order or pass on last-minute changed information about your training, we will also do this by phone at certain times. This is never mandatory to fill in.

  • Email address
    With every order, as soon as we receive your order, we will send you a confirmation and invoice by e-mail. If it is an order that is being shipped, PostNL (and/or MyParcel) will send an e-mail with the track & trace code on our behalf. 

  • IP address
    Your ip-address is stored when you place your order to recognise misuse during payment.

If you start a transaction and it is not completed, your transaction data (name, address, e-mail and IP) will be deleted from our server at the end of this month.


TRAINING PROGRAMMES AND COURSES

When you take part in a training programme, course or refresher course run by the Hormoonfactor Institute, we process personal data for purposes including:

  • confirmation of your registration;
  • communication regarding the course;
  • attendance recording;
  • examination and assessment;
  • the awarding of certificates or diplomas;
  • quality assurance and evaluations;
  • complying with obligations towards accreditation and quality assurance bodies.

The data will not be retained for longer than is necessary for these purposes or for as long as required by law. Personal data will not be disclosed to third parties, unless this is necessary for the delivery of the course or required by law.

Confidentiality

All staff, lecturers and other parties involved shall treat participants’ personal data and information in confidence.

Handling health information

During training courses, participants may choose to share personal health information. The Hormone Factor Institute:

  • does not actively request medical records;
  • does not process medical data unless strictly necessary;
  • treats shared information as confidential;
  • uses case studies that have been anonymised in their entirety.

PERSONAL DATA SECURITY 

We have implemented appropriate technical measures to protect personal data against loss or other forms of unlawful processing. These measures, including encryption using an SSL certificate, strong passwords, two-factor authentication where possible, restricted access rights, secure storage of records, ensure a level of security appropriate to the data we process. 

If you suspect a data breach:

  • this is reported internally immediately;
  • appropriate measures are taken;
  • If necessary, a report will be made to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

COOKIES 

A cookie is a small file sent by our website and placed by your browser on the device you use to visit our website. The information stored in the cookie can be sent back to our website when you revisit it. More information about cookies can be found on the website of ConsuWijzer

Cookies are used to ensure the best possible operation of this website and to tailor the content of advertisements to your preferences. 


FACEBOOK ADVERTISING COOKIES

With your consent, to make ads available, we use cookies from Facebook (Facebook Custom Audience, Facebook Impressions, Facebook Connect and Facebook Pixel). These cookies ensure that ads relevant to you are displayed.

TRACKING COOKIES

We use, with your permission, site tracking from Mailblue. Site tracking sets a cookie that keeps track of which pages you view on our website. GOOGLE ANALYTICS

Cookies are also set by our statistics package, Google Analytics. We would like to know how our visitors use the website and how many people visit our website each month, so that we can optimise the use of the website. Of course, we don't want you to be tracked unwanted, but we want to serve you as well as possible and for that we need good statistics. With Google Analytics, the information is anonymised as much as possible. Your IP address is expressly not used. We therefore cannot trace you personally. RESPONSE MODULE WPDISCUZ

The comment module on our blog articles uses the WPDISCUZ comment system. WPDISCUZ uses cookies to check whether you are logged in and for analysis of your user behaviour. WPDISCUZ does not have access to the data you provide us via the comment module.


SWITCH OFF AND DELETE

Do you want to disable or delete cookies? You can do this through your browser settings. If necessary, use your browser's help function to find out how to do this. 

Things you can always do:

  • Automatically disable 'third-party cookies' in your browser. Modern browsers (Chrome and Firefox) offer many options for this.

  • In your browser settings, specify that you do not want to be 'tracked'

  • You can always delete cookies placed from your browser, and you can also block them by domain if necessary.

SOCIAL MEDIA

Through the Hormoonfactor Facebook page, we have access to information from Facebook Insights, a feature that allows us to analyse data about the page’s followers and target audience. We do not use this information, but should we do so in the future, we will, of course, treat that data confidentially.

We would like to make it as easy as possible for you to share the content of our website via Social Media. One way of doing this is by using Social Media (share) buttons.

CUSTOMS

We will not keep your data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was received. If you unsubscribe from our e-mails, your personal data will be removed from the system within one month at the latest.

We keep the data in our accounting and CRM system for at least 7 years, partly to comply with all our legal obligation. We delete this data within 1 year after this obligation expires.

The above period applies provided that there are further legal obligations for us to retain and/or keep the data available for longer.

  • Certification details: 7 years
  • Test results: 2 years
  • Feedback forms: 2 years

RIGHTS

You always have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your data, after which we will no longer process your data. The withdrawal of this consent does not affect the lawfulness of our data processing on the basis of your consent, which took place before this withdrawal.

You also have the right to access your personal data and the right to rectify your personal data. If you want to know what personal data we process about you, you can submit a written request for inspection.

Should your data be incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant, you may request in writing that we amend or supplement your data.

In addition, you have a right to erasure of your personal data, a right to restrict processing and a right to object to processing. Furthermore, you have the right to transfer, or make your data transferable. You can also make a written request for this.

We will process your request within 4 weeks. Written also means by e-mail. You can e-mail your request to us at info@dehormoonfactor.nl.


AMENDMENTS

We reserve the right to change our privacy policy at any time. The changes will take effect at the time announced.
